I just realized, CIS can be used for program self-protection?

Hello,

I just realized that CIS could potentially be used as a “self”-protection for programs which lack these features, lets say you have another layer of security but that program doesn’t have any self protection, you could create a HIPS rule for that program and for example activate protection from Process Termination and then add for example KillSwitch and the program itself to exclusions.

Does anyone know if there would be any problems with this? Would this be a reliable method of protecting a program?

Any other information I should know about this?

I see no issue with this really. As for it being reliable not sure but it’s better than nothing I guess 88)
