I have software installed on my PC that has changed my browser’s homepage automatically - this is the definition of MalWare isn’t it performing unwanted actions is maliciously written by the trojan/virus?

I shall now be removing the offending software to prevent any further unauthorised activity on my PC - the software is called COMODO FIREWALL Product Version: 5.12.256249.2599 I have reported the action to my virus protection company and am alerting as many people to this maliciously software as possible.

The ironic point to this is the trojan company uses the tag line “Creating Trust Online”, well they have just lost mine.

Didn’t have that screen at all - perhaps I had agreed originally years ago to automatic updates which over ride this update option? I have uninstalled the malware now. Why not partner up with porn sites too I bet they will pay the $1 refer fee too.

Unlikely. Just ran the update, from 5.10 to 5.12 no changes were made.
