Hi, I hope you understand me well, my english is bad sorry
I have a serious problem after restore a very old snapshot, then my Windows 7 64 SP1 Ultimate failure to start with error in file \windows\system32\winload.exe, to repair i boot from the Windows 7 DVD… Startup Repair link from list of recovery tools in System Recovery Options, after a couple of hours the process was finished and windows starts good…
Now I can to start but Windows works very poorly, I can not start the CTM or any application -apparently only 32-bit applications not start(error message – bad image C: \Windows\system32\wow64cpu.dll …), some parts of windows not work…. How can I “force” to start CTM or ctmcmd to restore another snapshot? There are any CTM bootdisk?
Thanks!
CTM.exe is 2.5.63928.157 version
Fixed a few spelling errors in title. Eric
There is no CTM boot disc.
Another sad story from someone who has not observed the rules of CTM – " Never use Windows Discs or any third-party tools to repair systems (from outside of Windows Environment) when CTM’s installed "
You’re lucky that your system can boot, usually it should result in an unbootable system.

CTM and all your snapshots are gone and cannot be retrieved anymore.
p.s. Now CTM’s gone, you may use your Win7 disc to repair Windows again !
Thaks for your reply
But the CTM splash screen to enter the sub console had disappeared!, the only option that I did was boot up the Windows Dvd.
It is right in a situation like this where it is most needed to CTM, but CTM disappears. >:(
Had done just before the last restoration a new snapshot
Using any data recovery software as Recuva, Getdatabak, etc … could try to recover some personal file?

Well, it wouldn't hurt to try, but I doubt you would get anything.

CTM as a Snapshot program is a very useful tool but users should realize that it should never be used as a replacement for a Backup program.
