I formatted my computer and now I can’t install the firewall.
As I first tried to install it, the firewall’s installation program was interrupted and closed unexpectedly. Now, when I try to start the installation process again, I get an error message that says: “You seem to be having COMODO Firewall Pro -BETA installed using older version of installer. Please go to ‘Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs’ section and un-install COMODO Firewall Pro - BETA.”
The problem is that there is no Comodo Firewall Pro BETA in the Add or Remove Programs -section, because I did not manage to install the firewall at all. For a some reason, the installer thinks I have the firewall installed.
I also can’t find any manual un-installer program or what-so-ever from my hard disks; while the installer program got interrupted it crashed and did not install any data on my hard disks. Before the interruption, it only made a folder where the firewall was about to be installed.
What can be done? Please help me.
