hpmonZ.exe reported as Heur.Suspicious[at]124379421

Hello,

After I updated to the latest virus database on 10/16/2010 @ 9:11:23PM EST, a system scan reported the following threat on our system [Windows XP Pro, SP3, HP Compaq mobile workstation]…

Heur.Suspicious@124379421
C:Windows\hpmonZ.exe
C:\Documents and Settings~\Local Settings\Temp\HPISPz\hpmonZ.exe

I believe these are HP printer-related files. This is the first time i’ve seen these files reported as threats. I have uploaded the files for analysis by your team on your designated website.

Can someone please advise if these files are a legitimate threat or if this is just a false positive.

You can update to AV database Version <6421> of Comodo Internet Security
Version<5.0.162636.1135> and confirm it.
