HP PhotoSmart Plus B210 Scan To Computer Not Activcated (Need Major Help)

CI need help fixing this issue with the HP Photo Smart Plus activating Scan To Computer. I tried everything I knew. Will someone with the expertise help me with this?

Have you tried entering training mode on D+ before attempting to scan? (Just remember to return to your previous mode afterwards)

Can you please post a screenshot of your Defense+ log after you attempt this again?

What exactly is the issue, Eddie?
I don’t exactly understand the problem.
The program won’t run? Have you ensured the drivers are installed and running?
Does the software diagnosis show anything?

I got Scan to Computer fixed too.

I’ve tried going to Training Mode on Defence+ & it still won’t activate. Any other solutions?

You’ve confused lots of people on the past and now you can add me to the collection.

February 23 at 00:11:42 (my time) you had Scan to Computer fixed.

Today at 6:59::26 (my time) it’s broken again.

What did you change in between these two time points?

I’m so sorry for all the confusion.

Solution: It seems it has something to do with COMODO Firewall, so I temperately disable it & I tried it again & it activated.

Please try the following and let us know if this works.

  1. Enable CIS
  2. Open CIS by double clicking the system tray icon
  3. Click FIREWALL
  4. Click FIREWALL BEHAVIOUR SETTINGS
  5. Click ADVANCED
  6. Make sure “Block fragmented IP datagrams” is NOT selected
  7. Click OK

This solution works with a range of network attached devices - NAS’s, scanners, etc.
