After fresh format & install of WIN 7 64 on HP Laptop, only Drivers installation is important & required, right?
The HP Softwares like HP - Media, Video, DVD, Photo, Webcam, Advisor, Support Assistant, Wireless Assistant & Cyberlink Power DVD are optional & on users preference, right?

I would update both drivers and applications to the latest versions.
Thanxx replying. I am not talking of updates. I meant after a fresh install, drivers are necessary like Chipset, Display, Audio, etc., so one has to install the necessary drivers. But all those HP Softwares I have mentioned in my first post is not necessary, right? OR they are required too.

I dont use them. I know HP Multimedia softwares are optional coz I can use other Multimedia softwares, right? I specially wanted to know about softwares like HP Wireless Assistant, Support Assistant, Advisor, Quick Launch - I think these softwares are just helpful softwares for various things like troubleshooting, system check, etc, quicklaunch like for easy functions, etc & are not required & depends on user preference, right?
If you don’t use them, you don’t need them…
