How to update virus database offline

I read somewhere said turn computer to safe mode, go to c:\programme files\comodo\scanner\

replace the base.cav that downloaded from comodo.

I did and restarted, still requiring update via online.

any idea how to update offline for comodo internet security premium ?

what version of cis are you using

CIS 6, I downloaded from Comodo website couple days ago and installed in my friend’s computer.

Now already updated via online.

I just want to know how to do it offline.

In v6.xxx, open the CIS interface and click on the Help (?) button in the upper right corner. Choose About. When the About box comes up, click on the Import Virus Database link and point it to the database you downloaded from Comodo.
