Is there any way to turn off the pop-up for the installation mode reminder? When I am installing a program I get a pop up asking if I want to change back to the previous state. Can I get around this pop-up and leave the reminder off?
No sorry you cannot turn it off.
You do not have to answer the pop-up it will stay in installation mode until you click yes.
Usually with the recent versions of CIS it stays in the background so I do not see it only notice it in the task bar.

It keeps popping up as it cannot tell if you are actually finished with installation mode.
Some people use installation mode to install an application and then they do an update while still in install mode. This means the updater process is also checked while in installation mode and CIS creates appropriate rules for it.
If you end installation mode immediately after installing the app (which CIs could detect), you would only have to deal with pop-ups when you ran the updater.
Just click YES when you’re done.
