How to Secure a Construction Business Website with Comodo SSL?

Hi everyone,

I manage a construction business website, and I want to ensure it’s fully secured, especially since we handle customer inquiries and project quotes online. I’ve been looking into Comodo SSL certificates, but I’m unsure which type would be best for a site that doesn’t process payments but still collects customer information.

Would a Domain Validation (DV) SSL be enough, or would an Organization Validation (OV) SSL provide better trust for potential clients? Also, does Comodo offer any additional security features that are helpful for small business websites?

Thanks!

From my own experience running a small service-based site, a DV cert worked fine at first, but once I upgraded to OV it definitely felt more professional, clients mentioned they felt more comfortable sending info through the form since the company name shows up in the certificate details. DV will keep everything encrypted, but OV just adds that extra bit of credibility. Comodo’s site seal is a nice touch too; I’ve noticed people actually click on it, which reassures them the site’s legit.
