After some uptime, cmdagent is using lots of memory, and I’d like to quickly restart it, rather than restarting my whole pc. I installed the latest version of CIS a few weeks ago.
I’ve tried all the suggestions that I could find on here. I disabled AV, HIPS, Firewall, etc, and then tried killing cmdagent in task manager, tried stopping it in the services manager, and tried running “net stop cmdagent” from an elevated cmd prompt, but all of these result in “access denied” type errors.
So what’s the secret to restarting the cmdagent service?
