How to remove fileimage.dat?

I have a little space on the disk and this file is 600 mb. Can I reduce the file size?

Hello,

Fileimage.dat is a sparse file, which means its maximum size is 600 mb and the actual size on disk represents the amount of information stored on it.
Please go to the file’s proprieties and check the “Size on disk” field. It should be smaller than 600 mb.

I have a file in my root dir “fileimage.dat” It’s anything but sparse, it’s 600MB (599MB size on disk). It’s a hidden file. Attributes: HAP.

Is this a Comodo CIS file?
