how long did my backup take?

Where can I see the duration of my backup???

One of the most important bits of info really, but Comodo doesnt seem to display it anywhere. I wuld have thought hte history screen would show it, but no.

Also, how do you open the log file. I’ve ticked “enable log” and “log to file” but nothing happens when I click on “view log”

Hi

You can see it while the backup is running.
The screen log shows when backup started and when it ended.
In this version, the history log does not show how much time did the backup take.

When you click “view log” the log file is opened if a backup was performed since logging to file was enabled. Otherwise, noting happens.

Thanks

I’m running v2.2.1270000.12

Sure I can see the start and end times when a scheduled backup is running, but the whole idear of schduling a backup is so I dont have to be there when its running. Once its finished, I cant get back to the event to see how long it took.

The log file doesnt appear to have been created, as the log file size is 0 and opens as an empty file.

I have “enable Log” ticked, and “log to file” ticked and a path specified to a logfile

C:\Program Files\COMODO\COMODO BackUp\comodo log file.txt

I’ve even added text manually into the log file then re run the schedule, which I would have expected it to append to the file , but nope, the scheduled backup has run, but no entried were created in the log file.

This must be a bug!

We will fix this problem in the next release.
The log file will reflect when the backup started and when it ended.

Thanks
