Moving the Sandbox security level slider to disabled, disables the automatic sandbox, and sandboxing for programs added via ‘add a program to the sandbox’. It does not affect programs run via ‘Run a program in the sandbox’.
The sandbox is not affected by the D+ security level slider
Choosing to ‘Turn off D+ permanently’ and rebooting disables the sandbox completely
