How do I get µTorrent to work with Comodo? [Resolved]

I’ve been trying to get µTorrent to work with Comodo Firewall Pro but I can’t seem to get it to work. No matter what I do, I get the “no incoming connections” icon in µTorrent. Little help, please ???

I’m running Windows XP Pro SP2 with all the updates.
I’m using a 4-port router that’s been properly set-up for port forwarding with µTorrent (If I disable Comodo, µTorrent suddenly can see incoming connections.)
The port I’m trying to open is 29930 TCP.

Never mind, I figured (:NRD) it out!

I love Comodo, by the way. I used to use Sygate Personal Firewall Pro, and I recently swictehd. It was a natural fit for me. (:CLP)

Great work, Sarge. Sorry no one answered sooner. Just for clarity and to help others who may your thread useful, would you please post the steps you took to resolve this?

Sure.

  1. Start Comodo.
  2. Bring up the main screen.
  3. Click the “Security” tab (in the second row from the top).
  4. In the list of selections available along the left-hand side of the window, click “network Monitor” selection.
  5. In the main part of the window, click the button labeled “Add”
  6. You need to supply the proper information. Fill it out as follows:
    Source IP: Any
Destination IP; Single IP <The local IP of the machine with µTorrent installed on it.>
    Source Port: Any
Destination Port; Single Port <The port that µTorrent is set to use.> As this number is changeable, you shopuld check to be sure what the port is in your case.

You will have to do this (or something similar) for any hardware firewalls and/or routers between the µTorrent machine and the internet.

Excellent. Thanks for taking the time to post your answer. I’ll lock this topic for safekeeping
