I have a router so my LAN ip is 192.168.0.3. Do I have to add this to My Network Zones?
I don’t quite understand what this means.
I’m running the latst CF3 BETA

Is that your PC’s IP address or the Router’s IP address?

Sorry, I didn’t know there was a difference.
That is my computer’s IPv4 address when I type ipconfig /all
192.168.0.3
default gateway: 192.168.0.1
Make these two rules and put them at the top of your Network rules list.
Go to Firewall>Advanced>Network Security Policy>Global Rules>ADD:
ALLOW-check the checkbox to log any events from this rule in the log
OUT
IP
Give the rule a name
Source Address: ANY
Destination Address: choose IP Range and enter 192.168.0.1 in the top window and 192.168.0.255 in the bottom window
Details: ANY
Click “Apply” then “Apply” again

Click Add again:
ALLOW-check the checkbox
IN
IP
Give the rule a name
Source Address: choose IP Range and enter 192.168.0.1 in the top window and 192.168.0.255 in the bottom window
Details: ANY
Click “Apply” then “Apply” again
When you are done writing the rules then move them both to the top of your list.
You should be able to connect now.
The reason I am having you write the rules instead of using the automatic setup of a Trusted Zone is I know that this works and doesn’t cause any problems. I had some problems with a BSOD after I used the automatic setup last nite so I want to test it again before I recommend it to you.
hope this helps,
