How can I tell what version of CAVS2 I’m running?
If you open CAVS2, in the top right hand corner of the main window there is a button labelled “About”. In the “About Comodo Anti-Virus” window, there is another button labelled " Version Information". Clicking this will display the various internal versions used in CAVS2.
BUILD VERSION refers to the version that was originally installed on this system
VIRUS DATABASE VERSION refers to the latest signature updates installed on your system
SAFELIST DB VERSION refers to the internal database of known safe applications
PROGRAM UPDATES VERSION refers to the latest program update installed on this system
Generally, the PROGRAM UPDATES VERSION is the version number you may be asked for when asking for help.
