I had been using CPF for a few months now and have loved it; however, after wiping my HD recently and installing the newest version of ATI’s Catalyst drivers (6.9), when I installed CPF I have this awful delay in my typing (about two - three seconds after I press ANY key on my keyboard, the character or window appears); I thought it might be some of the lower level system hooks that CPF uses (Component filtering, etc.), so I disabled those; after that didn’t work, I disabled all of CPF’s features and even exited the program, to no avail. The only way to stop it was to uninstall CPF entirely.
I also noticed some other problems associated with the typing; MS Word 2k3 will not open at all (not sure about other Office progs). Once again, after uninstalling CPF, the problem disappears entirely.
Has anyone else ran into this problem, or thinks they may have a fix?
