Help me with Defense please

I have v3.0.14.276…32 installed on XP sp2 and working well. The only thing I can’t fix is everytime I update my AntiVir software and it downloads a update it puts 2 files in my pending files.

C:\program files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\avewin32.dll
C:\program files\Avira\AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic\preupd.exe

After purging avewin32.dill remains. I submit this file over and over.

I have added it to my own safe files.

Is there something I can set so I don’t have to keep removing these files from my pending files?

Have you tried making AntiVir a trusted app in Defense+? And/or preupd.exe an installer? You may want to play around with these setting in Defense+, advanced, computer security policy.
