I gave CD a try and I uninstall it for these reasons:
1- The skin is horrible and you can’t change it. ANy other skin you may install will keep the horrible icons and tabs and many of them are unreadable because of the white tabs of CD and the clear fonts of the theme. A real disaster and very absurd. Any other Chrome mod allows skins. Why not CD and why so ugly?
2- Lacks many features that for instance Chromplus has by default. Some of them are very neessary and annoying not to have, such as mouse gestures, double click on tab to clse tab, opening every bookmark and search in a new tab in background and many many more.
3- No re-open closed tabs button and the extensions available are not as good as the one in Chromeplus allowing to open by one single click the last tab or the last tabs closed list.
4- What does in fact CD includes or does to make it safer or more private than Chrome? I have read the Comodo Dragon pages and I couldn’t find anything specific.
And etcetera. Long way to go to be a decent and competitive browser.

I do agree with some of this.
But lack of mouse gestures by it’s self wouldn’t be a deal breaker >:-D <----Beside I would rather have comodo work on the main core of dragon before working on certian features
But more importantly (below)
While there are various versions of chrome.
This is what comodo dragon DOESN’T have
1)Client-ID
Chrome creates a unique ID through which a user can be theoretically identified.
2)Timestamp
Chrome remembers up to the second exactly when the software was installed.
3) RLZ-Tracking
This Chrome-function transmits information in encoded form to Google, for example, when and where Chrome has been downloaded.
and among various other things, bla bla bla
Basicly similar to “SRWare Iron” but comodo added it own “Verification Engine” and other stuff. This is just getting started
A better question is: Did the makers of Chromeplus browser remove ALL the privacy intrusion features that google added AND can it verify that let’s say for example your on facebook.com. Can it be sure your really on facebook.com?
I just don’t understand why people bash a product then leave without even offering much in the way of constructive criticism. People should stay and provide constructive criticism so the product can improve based on their input!
I 100% agree. I don’t think the current skin is ugly either. For a new browser I think CD is TERRIFIC ;D
I also think that there will be more skins becoming available for CD in the near future and more features. Again, for a new browser CD is starting out really, really well and I’m really enjoying using it.

It makes me curious too sometimes ???
Bugs do happen
Like my problem:
(exmple) When going to www.comodo.com a black screen comes up with the words “aw snap”, but when using the yahoo search engine( at www.yahoo.com) and get the yahoo results works fine
if it helps or not, I’m using the newest version of java 1.6.0_21-ea on a (32x) and windows 7
Yes I have tried Iron and although the skin is fine it also lacks too many features that are not available via extensions either.
Of course I am concerned about security and that is why I was trying both CD and Iron, but at the end when they are so behind in features I go back to Chromeplus.
Sorry guys that I was so rude, I was just feeling angry when I wrote that message, mostly because I don’t understand why it is not skinnable. I know it is not a good reason to be offensive, so, I apologize, but these things happen when you try software sometimes.
You asked for constructive criticism, so these are my suggestions:
1- Explain in extensive detail (in easy to understand language and in a place easy to find) the security advantages of CD compared to Chrome.
2- Even when the default skin is a taste matter (I find it horrible you like it) make it skinnable and problem solved. I read in some places the same opinion, that the CD default skin is terribly ugly and full of design bugs. Just let the skins work 100% without keeping so many elements.
3- See what Chromeplus is offering already about options and features and try to offer as much as possible. It is always better and safer to have those features installed and tested by default than installing someone’s extension. Still, many features of Chromeplus are not even available via extensions.
That is my constructive crticism. Of course we are all interested in safety, so that if you offer a competitive browser in features with more security and privacy, it can be a different story.
Take care and again sorry for my very unpolite first message.
