Hard drive problem

So i ordered a new hard drive for my laptop. I finally installed it yesterday and installed windows 7. About every other boot im getting a BSOD. I ran the hard drive self test from my bios and it keeps failing. I am was able to install windows with no problems and when im in windows everything seems to work ok. What should i do? should i send back the hard drive or do you think its something fixable?

Send it back. HDD errors are (99.99999999% of the time) not transient and do not get better over time.

Bad now = worse tomorrow = dead at some future point.

ok thanks i just hate to have to send it back and wait for a new one.

Do you think its worth getting replacement or should i get a different brand? This is the one i bought
