Halo 2, multiple servers [RESOLVED]

When i host 1 dedicated Halo2 server on my server pc i can always join it but when i host multiple servers on that machine i can never join the 2nd or 3rd. CPF then blocks data coming from the server machine. I’ve allowed the game all access, put the server in the local network and it still blocks data coming from the server.

Vista ultimate 32, latest version of CPF.

Any fix for that?

What i also noticed, when a changed program wants internet access, version 2.4.18.184 reported that the program changed, with V3 i’ve never seen it report that.

Hi,

Do you have related entries in the log?

Yeah i can post it later, it’s really what i said: …\halo2.exe local server ip → local pc port 3074 udp blocked.

What are rules for halo2.exe? What are global rules? What are rules that affect all applications (“*” or “all applications” group)? In what order do they appear in the list? What is your “local network” zone?

Describe in detail, pls. Screenshots may help.

Halo2 is allowed everything and it’s pretty near the top of the listing in the network rules because of this problem, local zone is 192.168.1.x.

I hope it was clear that i can always join 1 or the first server (without CPF blocking network traffic) but when i try to join the 2nd or 3rd server CPF blocks data from the server.

If it is exact entry in network zones settings, i guess it cannot be processed normally. Try to modify your local zone: add range of exact (without “x”) IP addresses (or add every IP address with mask) that stand for local machine (with CF installed) and all servers.

What are global rules?

Still no go.

Run stealth port wizard->define a new trusted network->“local”.
Did it solve problem? If no, what are global rules?

YES! That works, thanks man! :-TU

No problem
