In april Google will stop NPAPI support in google chrome in april, which means we can’t use java, quickTime and shockwave.
What about comodo dragon/chromodo? will comodo make comodo dragon/chromodo still support NPAPI?

Not entirely correct.
In April 2015 NPAPI support will be disabled by default in Chrome and we will unpublish extensions requiring NPAPI plugins from the Chrome Web Store. Although plugin vendors are working hard to move to alternate technologies, a small number of users still rely on plugins that haven’t completed the transition yet. We will provide an override for advanced users (via chrome://flags/#enable-npapi) and enterprises (via Enterprise Policy) to temporarily re-enable NPAPI while they wait for mission-critical plugins to make the transition.In September 2015 we will remove the override and NPAPI support will be permanently removed from Chrome. Installed extensions that require NPAPI plugins will no longer be able to load those plugins.
Chrome = Chromium here.
This would be a good thing I think
Java ( not Java script ), and Adobe Shockwave / Flash have been top contenders for number one malware exploit for many years.
( not sure about quicktime … does anyone actually need it if they havent been force fed apple proprietary formats ?, surely you can have any videos in a different format, and pretty much anything can be played with VLC if not HTML5 )
Reducing the potential exploitable footprint within Dragon can only be a good thing for Dragons objectives of good security and privacy
Indeed, getting rid of NPAPI is good for security. Plugins (NPAPI) have always been the weak point of Chrome’s security.
PPAPI is different, as it allows sandboxing and is as secure as HTML-pages.
I have lived happily without NPAPI-support for a year now, beginning with Chrome 35 Dev, when Chrome for Linux switched from GTK+ to Aura.
No it’s not a good thing for me. I need it for a flash based game and ppapi gives too much problems. But anyways I read that npapi will be disabled in dragon 45? if so, when does this come out?
