Global hook alert

When ı try run ccs64.exe, ( ı download this program here )
Defense alert, global hook , what must ı do? İs it safe, how can ı know?

When you know trust the program and the source where you got it from you can allow it.

How can I detect the program is safe ? I dont know.

The Commodore emulator has to install a hook to function properly. Like a game that needs to hook the keyboard for the controls to work. I would run a scan through virus total, and if nothing suspect found then allow the hook. Also if you follow my practice on hooks then I deny (without remember my answer checked) and if no problem is experienced with running the app then I permanently deny it. One thing to remember is that if deny a hook on a full screen game or emulator then because you denied the hook it may not respond and lock the system. Meaning that you need to press esc to exit the game, but it won’t respond because you blocked the hook to the keyboard and the game can’t recognize your pressing the escape key. If this happens of coarse you’ll probably have to shut down with the power button and next time allow the hook or delete the application.
