Hello,

I just re-installed the latest version of GIMP on my machine (Win XP). Every executable, pug-in, in GIMP is blocked for some reason so that I am unable to use the program at all. I moved every file that I could find in the “Proactive Defense” “My Pending Files” category that might be remotely associated with GIMP to “My Own Safe Files”, but still with no success. I noted that the Defense+ has blocked GIMP as a suspicious attempt.

Please advise.

Go to “Defence+”, “Computer security policy” and delete the rule set for the gimp from this list. It will then recreate it automatically and if it is now considered safe (in my safe files) it should all be allowed.
