the below mentioned drawbacks are some of the major & most important drawbacks of the latest version of CIS v7 premium free edition & comodo antivirus & comodo firewall v7 free editions:

1. Comodo antivirus in CIS V7 & Comodo antivirus v7 doesn’t have any direct delete options available for removing threats & malwares directly on detection rather than quarantining them & then deleting them .

2. Comodo antivirus doesn’t detect & remove threats & malwares in rar or archive formats in on access protection mode .

3. Detection & proper & complete removal capabilities of rootkits & complex spywares & worms is very very poor & requires huge amount of improvements.

4. The web & url filtering & antiphising component in comodo v7 series of products is just totally worthless currently because it fails in blocking almost 99% malicious & phising websites & dangerous webpages & bad url’s.

5. Comodo Secure Dns service needs to increase the number of servers to amuch much better extent because while using comodo secure dns 2 browsing & surfing & download speeds used to get a lot lot slower even on high speed wired broadband internet connections.

6. Comodo Firewall needs to be updated with new modules & rules & security patch updates atleast monthly to prevent & succesfully block each & every latest hack & network intrusion attempts & techniques that continues to grow in new ways regularly in the current web world.

So, as an regular & experienced user & fan of comodo security products for over 5 years i personally & onbehalf of each & every comodo users expect that the well respectable & highly knowledgable security experts & programmers & development team of comodo security solutions should quickly & positively fix the above mentioned very very serious bugs or drawbacks in comodo v7 series of products as quickly as possible.

I prefer quarantine over deleting as I am human and prone to make mistakes. When in quarantine I can always revert my decisions.

That's why Comodo Cleaning Essentials is provided. If memory serves me this is not the first time this is being pointed out to you.

So if you are using web filters against “executables” then you don’t need to with CIS…

Download speed problems are not relate to DNS performance. Once the look up is done other factors are determining connection speeds. If memory serves me well this has already been pointed out to you before.

Again we are asking you to state your case. You have argued this many a time without providing us any proof CIS would be failing!

You are contradicting yourself. Using CIS for 5 years must make you a very happy customer with a lot of confidence in the product where at the same time you say it is seriously flawed.

dear dennis 2 i am talking about the improvements required in comodo free firewall in terms of overall firewall security protection & in terms of blocking each & every modern & sophisticated hack or intrusion or ping attempts or port scan attempts or any other types of attack attempts on any ports & i am also talking about the necessary security protection & modules updates required for comodo firewall free version at least monthly to improve the overall security & protection level & hence overall quality of the comodo free firewall

i totally agree with mukunda with his points & hope that the developers of comodo should positively fix this important security issues & bugs & drawbacks related to comodo v7 series of products for the overall betterment & development of all comodo security products & they should not ignore it by some silly arguments or reasons

comodo internet security v7 has released three months ago & minor bugs & issues has been resolved with the monthly program updates of comodo v7 series of products but there are some major issues & points on which comodo really needs to make a lot of development & improvement in reality below are some of which:

1. the web filtering database needs to updated regularly & hourly because currently the web filtering database of comodo is very very negligible & small & it’s not sufficient to block the ever increasing & so large number of malicious & phising websites & bad domains on the internet.

2. the proper & complete removal capability of any types of threats & malwares & stubborn & complex rootkits & worms & trojans & keyloggers & bots & spywares needs to be improved hugely for the antivirus & antimalware engine of CIS v7 premium & Comodo Antivirus v7 free version’s.

3. Comodo secure dns 2.0 needs to increase it’s servers to a much much better extent & in more large numbers because still while using comodo dns the internet connections slows down a lot more even on high speed wired broadband internet connections, i am from India (kolkata,west bengal).
