My full antivirus scan still stops at 1 particular folder despite the new updates… It stops at 34325 files when scanning a pictures folder (Largish pictures in this folder but never seems to get past it) has this happened to others?

Please, provide more information, like: 
What is the medium size of the files there?
Is there any compressed files inside there?
How much space do you have left in your HD?
What is your windows version? Processor, How much memory ram do you Have? Is your partition NTFS(Xp Or 2000) or Fat32 (Xp only)?
This kind of info usually help to find the source of the problem… ;D

Eric, can you also do a right click scan on the folder and see if you have the same problem as full scan and post this with information Elminster requested?

Thanks for all your advice and help… He’s how I’ve got on…
Right… I’ve scanned each individual file within the folder with no problems. I’ve scanned the complete folder with no problems. The largest picture file is only 335KB. I can scan the folder using On Demand Scanner with and without the memory scan with no problem. CAV only seems to sieze when I am doing a full computer scan and come across this folder which only has picture files no zip files.
My computer is now running properly slow after the scans as well… Need to reboot will post more in a few…
