Freepops Service installer/remover hang (1.0.16 2.0.0.1) [workaround]

I have a P4 HT, My system internet browser is Firefox, OS: XP sp2 32bit, AV: None Security Apps: Comodo Firewall Pro 3.013, Comodo Memory Guardian 1.0.16b

Freepops ( http://www.freepops.org/en/ ) comes with a service installer uninstaller placed in Start Programs\Freepops\Service
This executable named freepopsservice.exe hangs when it performs service installation or removal.
This only happens when CMG and CFP are installed together. Whitout CMG there is no issue.

This bug is still there.

I’ve tested this, everything is normal (tested without CFP)

I’m currently addressing CFP-CMF compatibility. That’s why I’m currently refraining from installing any other security software or complex utility.
This way I don’t have to uninstall extra apps when I find an unespected behaviour.

I made extra uninstall this time to provide additional infos.
CFP alone: freepopsservice.exe closes w/o problems
CMF alone: freepopsservice.exe closes w/o problems
CMF + CFP: freepopsservice.exe hangs and doesn’t close

There should be other issues like this. The most troubling are caused by Bsodhooks. I’ve not yet completed the test with these releases. Usually there is no BSOD but there is a general system malfunction. Sometime CFP gui crashes. Other times I lose internet connections. Previous CMG versions could not be tested with that tool. CFP alone passed those tests with no unespected behaviour. The two cause unespected behaviour during the tests. What I’m supposed to do? I’m only taking these tests to gather useful informations in order to harden Comodo products so I would be glad to hear any suggestion on sucessfully taking this task.

Please add freepopservice.exe to exclusion list. This is impossible to fix, due to freepopservice instability (it just reads/writes memory by absolute addresses)

Locked.

Reason: Out-Dated post.
