None. I don’t use a antivirus.
CAVS 3 has a lot of fans at this stage!!! Maybe it could convince me to give it a try and it could make it happen that I will leave my FREE antivirusprogram that I am using now for verry looooooong time!!

I’ll certainly monitor the development of CAVS3 and possibly use it in the future,but it’ll have to be very special to prise Avira off my system. (:WIN)

I am now using Avast since Avira kept doing odd things. Especially that the “umbrella” refused to open in my taskbar about every 3 boot up. Free protection. Isn’t it grand… :BNC (R) (S) (CLY)
Bitdefender online scan: integrated Bitdefender ant-virus-spyware engines into IE7. 1.5 mb approximately download plus 17+ mb of signatures (not sure though), no additional traffic consumption. All i need to scan system.

Avast! 4.8 is probably what I will be using. I’ll give CAVS3 a try or two but if it doesn’t feel right I’ll just stick with Avast. (L)
@Vettetech: When the umbrella is closed you are not automatically unprotected. The service is still running in most cases. But if a firewall blocks the communication between the icon and the backend it may be stuck closed.
No sorry that’s not the problem. Other people are having this issue. I posted it in thr Avira forums. Its a bug cause its not all the time. Only about every 4th or 5th boot up. The “umbrella” in the systray never opens but when you open up Avira it says guard active. If I reboot again the problem is gone. Doesn’t matter I am using NOD32 now.
