I am just wondering if Comodo Antivirus for Mac detects the new flashback Trojan that exploits the java vulnerability, can someone reply ASAP to put my mind at rest please.

I would need a sample or a md5 to see if a signature exists.

I don’t know where you could get a sample, the Trojan uses a java exploit to infect the machine, I could get you the ip address if you would like?

There is an address the Trojan sends info to, I could give you that website address

I saw that but I would still need a md5 to check it out.

I can’t get an md5 for you, sorry.

I just followed the manual steps for checking to see if I was infected with this Trojan, thankfully I am not infected.
