First Detected File is Occasionally Not Shown [V7B][M830]

When performing on-demand scan, CIS sometimes does not show the first detected file immediately.

  1. Diagnostics report as attachment to your post

  2. The full product and its version
    CIS 7.0.308911.4080 BETA

  3. Your Operating System
Windows 7 SP1 Home Premium 32-bit running on VMware Player 6.0.1

  4. List all the configuration changes you did.
Default IS with Auto-sandbox set to Fully Virtualized

  5. Did you install over a previous version without uninstalling first, or import a previous configuration file?

  6. Other Security, Sandboxing or Utility Software Installed
    MBAM Free, CCleaner

  7. Step by step description to reproduce the issue
Right click on the folder and choose “Scan with Comodo AV”.

  8. What actually happened when you carried out these steps
CIS is showing that there is one file detected but that file is not listed.
When the second file is detected then it shows both files. After that it works ok.
This happens randomly…I have already seen that before.

  9. What you expected to see or happen when you carried out these steps, and why (if not obvious)
The file that is detected should be listed in “Threats Found” list immediately.

How often does it not show this first file? You said that it sometimes does not, but can you be more specific about this? Roughly how many times out of 10 would you approximate that this first file is not shown?

2 out of 10?
It’s hard to say…

No problem. I’ll forward this to the devs.

Thank you very much for your report in standard format, with all information supplied. The care you have taken is much appreciated by Comodo, and will increase the likelihood that this bug can be fixed.

Developers may or may not communicate with you in the forum or by PM/IM, depending on time availability and need. Because you have supplied complete information they may be able to replicate and fix the bug without doing so.

Many thanks again.

The devs have been unable to reproduce this. Thus, they have requested that I ask for you to create a video showing the issue. Would that be possible?

Have you been able to reproduce this?

The devs have been unable to replicate this. Therefore, as there has been no response to the request for additional information, they have assumed that this is fixed for CIS version 7.0.313494.4115. I will therefore move this to Resolved.

If this is still not fixed for you please both respond to this topic and send me a PM (including a link to this bug report).

Thank you.
