Firewall update fails

When I try to update Comodo Firewall Pro v. 3.014.276, I get error 109, saying the connection failed halfway through the update. I’m on dialup, but this happened repeatedly today (17 Dec) when the link is good and working fine for other programs. I tried at various times of the day with the same result. I uninstalled and reinstall Comodo but the problem recurred. Can say what’s causing this and how to fix? OS is WinXP Home, fully updated.

I just realized, a few minutes after posting, that I installed an old version of Comodo in the re-install. I’m going to update to the latest CIS, 3.5-something, and see if that resolves the issue.
