Although I am quit happy with Comodo Firewall, one thing bothers me a lot.
Comodo can be protected by a password to stop unwanted changes of the firewall settings.
But Comodo stores these settings in the registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Software\Comodo\Firewall Pro.… and gives “Everyone” full access rights to these keys.
This renders the protection of these settings by a password totally useless. Although these keys can be protected by Comodo itself the changing of these keys other than by Comodo is not prevented.
Because of this, I will no longer use Comodo. I must say “with pain in my hart”. I hope this question will be adequately attacked in the near future.
Besides this, activating logging of an “allow” rule does not log the rule when its is fired.
