Firewall help. Please!

I haven’t had Comodo firewall for very long. It seems to work okay. But I get message windows that upgrades are available. When I try to download the upgrades, I get an error message saying that “seems the internet connection was lost half-way through the process.” I don’t see how that can be true. I access the internet via cable modem. I’m connected all the time. I have no trouble getting online for anything else. Any suggestions?
