Firewall enable whole folder to allow

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to set up a firewall rule that allows an entire folder to connect to the internet. The reason is that apps like Google Chrome (and others) need to update, but the updater “.exe” file changes each time. However, the update requests always come from the same parent folder.

I created the rule by adding a wildcard at the end, but it doesn’t seem to work:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\GoogleUpdater*

Am I missing something, or has this feature been removed?

If you are using version 12.3.4.8162 and it is a folder path, then like this:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\GoogleUpdater\*
