I just got a warning from Comodo that I’ve not gotten before it said Firefox.exe is trying to act as a server. I’m not real good at this stuff and have never gotten that warning before ,is this normal etc? Thinking that this may be the first reboot since getting a firefox update several days ago.

This is normal. All it is doing is telling you that Firefox is trying to connect to the internet (which it is meant to do if you’re using it) i also use firefox and Comodo firewall and probably went through about 20-40 different firefox alerts all were legit.
