Files waiting for review = Virus detection

Hey, just noticed I had over 7000 files waiting for a review. When I clicked the link and it started populating that list, my avast antivirus started wenting nuts and found a lot of trojans.
What’s up with that? Did comodo block the infected files so they never got a chance to be active. Why did my virus scanner pick them up when comodo made that list??

It might be another false positive. For example, check out the Avast Support forum and search for “377” the article number. Back on 12-2-2009, Avast put out a definitions update that flagged a lot of things as Trojans, but Avast quickly corrected the glitch, 5 or 6 hours later, with a new defns file pushed out. I give them credit, they fixed it and owned up to their mistake in the article on “Win32:Delf-MZG & Zbot-MKK false positive issues.”

It could be that some of the files in the pending list were actual viruses and Avast scanned them as they were loaded into memory.

When was the last time that you performed a full scan with Avast?
