During a full scan of my drives a file was detected as trojan dropper w32 vb il and accordingly quarantined and sent to comodo.
As I am also using ewido, windows defender, arovax antispy etc I send this file for testing to virus total and the results are there in the image.
Why did comodo detect it as a trojan ?

Any sort of anti malware scanner will detect false positives from time to time. You just need to submit them to the company and they should rectify the problem. You usually get them due to the way Heuristics and Generic detections work to detect new variants of known viruses.
But, you must also remember it may be malware that another scanner may not detect yet.

There are few issues with the AV (bugs that stops the engine and unpackers :-(.
Our developers are flat out on this and hopefully next version will be much better, however, we will continue to improve it, we won’t rest until we are the best!
