I’ve been getting prompts requesting permission for a Comodo browser installation. Gotten for Dragon, Ice Dragon and Chromodo in the past and just now got for Dragon. I did not allow and was concerned it was some fake. The installer is located in Windows Temp folder.
I checked for the latest download of Dragon and it is 55.0.2883.59 and have it on my desktop. The current installed version is .52. The one in Windows Temp says 57. 0.2987.93. It sounds suspicious that it wants to install a number even higher than the latest downloaded from Comodo. The current Chromodo is 48. etc.
Should I be concerned? I have the Temp files saved in a folder and can submit for examination if desired?
It just prompted again for same version and new files in Windows Temp folder. Just an info.
Did you check before posting about fake comodo dragon installer? Current version of
Comodo Dragon v57.0.2987.93 is now available for download. https://forums.comodo.com/news-announcements-feedback-cd/comodo-dragon-v570298793-is-now-available-for-download-t119498.0.html posted on: May 17, 2017, 03:03:06 PM

So there is nothing wrong with the installer.
That is odd.
I went to the Comodo website and clicked the download for Dragon and it is not that version. Unless the version indifferent than what is listed in properties details> The one I just downloaded from the website is 55 in properties. Why is your link for 57 and the website has 55? Unless 55 is 57?
A bit confused/
Thanks for the reply
I’m guessing the website has not been updated with the latest version and the forum has it. That is the confusion?
