Has anyone tried this?
They say it can work together with other firewalls, it would be nice to see how it works with CCAV, it should be a very lightweight combo

I am wondering what Protection against external threats does:
Prevent the attacker to get access to your computer by exploiting security vulnerabilities. If it is like the BO detection in CIS, MBAM AE, Hitman Pro Alert, EMET…
If you set it to paranoid it works according to a default deny approach because it’ll block any Internet connection unless you decide otherwise.
The problem is that it’s a on/off firewall because you can’t for example allow only outbound connections.
But it looks like a very simple and light firewall, if it’s also effective it could be a good addition to CCAV for people who think CIS is getting too much bulked
Looks great TBH, I’ll wait for the portable version they have coming up before giving it a try, but if they can deliver a light weight firewall option, that works like Comodo’s ‘custom ruleset’ firewall, then I can finally drop this bloat.
Or maybe Comodo could just offer a lean standalone firewall without all the HIP, AV, Sandbox, Geekbuddy, Facebook, Twitter, Puke.
Hi Im_Special,
You are welcome to an opinion, but you don’t have to be rude or disrespectful about it.
Or maybe Comodo could just offer a lean standalone firewall without all the HIP, AV, SandboxAuto sandbox and HIPS can be disabled, the AV component is optional. We need to remember Comodo is giving us options for full (Not hacked, not partial) system protection 100% free.
Thanks.
