Error sending file "false positive"

Look, please.

Comodo antivirus can not send a file that causes a false positive on servers COMODO, if access to the Internet without a NAT or external IP-address.

Version of COMODO Internet Security is the latest 5.0.162636.1135

Our network is organized so that there is no NAT, and Internet access through SQUID HTTP-proxy.

In the setting of our COMODO specified HTTP-proxy. Database is updated correctly. If you check the update program itself - it also connects through a proxy and all the normal checks / updates.

But if there is a file that causes a false alarm - choose “Report False Positive”. And the file does not want to go.

The netstat command shows that the queries are not a proxy, but directly, and the resulting file is not sent.

And this will be fixed in newer versions?

You can also report false positives here on the forum.

AV False Positive/Negative Detection Reporting

Or from this web page.

Comodo Malware Analysis

… But choose “Report False Positive” is more faster and more convenient.

More convenient yes, but it is not faster.

Currently, anything sent from CIS itself is not processed as quickly as the other submission methods I stated.

Thanks, but that’s the main question(to developers):

The netstat command shows that the queries are not a proxy, but directly, and the resulting file is not sent. And this will be fixed in newer versions?

Sorry for the poor translation from Russian into English!

You can update fine, without error but when you try to submit a FP to Comodo it gives you an error? because it doesnt detect the Proxy? Correct?

Have you tried setting the proxy in the Internet Explorer Settings?
Start > Run >
Copy and Paste The Text Below Into the run dialog

rundll32 Shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL INETCPL.CPL

Connections tab

hope this helps
