Getting this error since when attempting to connect to my home pc from work.
“Because of an error in data encryption, this session will end. Please try connecting to the remote computer again.”
Work machine is Win7 32 bit; Home is Win7 64 bit.
We are on a work network here but my home pc has a Motorola modem/wireless router surfboard.
I had no problems with Hamachi vpn but switched to comodo for speed purposes.
I have comodo software firewall but turned it off to troubleshoot this which didn’t help.
MS firewall is turned off on both sides. No other firewall software on my home pc end.
Can someone give me an idea of how to troubleshoot this?
I have spoke with my network admin here at work, he thinks the problem is either on my home router or a setting in the comodo software itself since he and lots of others here Hamachi
I don’t really understand about the youtube ssl link. I am getting no certificate errors on either side, the connection is being terminated regardless of whether I have IE up or not. I can simply be browsing my pc and it happens.
That being said the second link mentioned something about nod32, which I have. I reset it back to defaults per what one reply stated. We can see if that helps.
I have Motorola SBG6580. I could forward the port but what port would I need to forward it too? And would I need to change any settings on my other work pc for that?
