Some people have been experiencing the following error message:
Error : Engine Initialization Failed
after clicking this error message, another error message would be displayed:
** Unhandled Exception! ExpCode: 0xC0000005 ExpFlags: 0 ExpAddress: 0x00410E6C
Now while these symptoms seem to speak of a major issue, the problem (and resolution) is really quite simple.
The issue is that CAV pulled down updates that erequire a reboot. I have seen the reboot prompt, but am pretty sure that in some cases I hadn’t (or had more than likely closed the prompt thinking I’d reboot later and forgot about it).
So the solution to this error is simply to reboot so that the CAV updates can load properly.
