If you follow my instructions above it will remove all of the remnants. You will also need to delete the start-up entry for the installer from the registry:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Once you’ve done that and clear temporary files and rebooted, of course, you can do a clean install. I’d wait until this certificate issue is resolved in the next day or two or use old .8012 in the interim.
Use the uninstallers after running the normal uninstall process from this post.
