If you follow my instructions above it will remove all of the remnants. You will also need to delete the start-up entry for the installer from the registry:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Once you’ve done that and clear temporary files and rebooted, of course, you can do a clean install. I’d wait until this certificate issue is resolved in the next day or two or use old .8012 in the interim.
Use the uninstallers after running the normal uninstall process from this post.

Yesterday I uninstalled CIS 2025 with this tool, some drivers etc. could not be uninstalled. I restarted as requested by the program but in safe mode and everything was deleted. Another restart in normal mode, installation of version 8012 took place without any problems. So I didn’t have to delete anything manually.
