Error 1603

Hi Im getting the error 1603 when trying to install Comodo firewall or internet security I have seriously searched the internet for 10 hours trying every thing from the batch files the uninstallers even manually deleting from my registry myself.

I used to have comodo but I uninstalled and now I really need it again I keep coming under attack of bitcoin miners.
So any way I have attached the install log I have read it but Im not really sure what to look for.

Please Help I really want comodo back and this error is sending me mad.

try installing with UAC disabled and under an administrator account. Also make sure you’re clean from infection by running a Malwarebytes scan.

Hi I tried disabling UAC and as admin still getting the same error.

I’m guessing that you’re experiencing Bug 1372. Could you please confirm?

Thank you.

Im not actually sure. I tried other earlier versions and got the same error so I guess not

It seems like a permissions problem at first sight.

Hm ok so shouldn’t have disabling uac fixed it in that case?
