Okay itā€™s trying to connect to 91.199.212.69 https however the server is not responding.
My host sends 3 SYN requests and does not get any response back.

One change is that itā€™s no longer asking ā€œelevated privilegesā€ at startup on Vista :-))

Hi Guys,

Seems there is an issue with the server update. Iā€™ll withdraw the new client until itā€™s resolved.

Please continue to use the old client and Iā€™ll post back here soon.

What is the biggest selling point of easy vpn? (besides it is freeā€¦)

  3. Secure Remote access to your machine (even though your IP might be dynamic)

an application with total encrypted lan simulation over the internet with remote desktop and instant messaging capabilities.

creating lan over internet means vpnā€¦
imagine the ability to create a vpn with a simple application you installā€¦
you install this app on two machinesā€¦ voilaā€¦ they are now going to operate as if they are on the same lanā€¦you can print on the other machine, you can synch your iphone, you can play games (LAN games) and so onā€¦

that sounds really cool! I can already see the possibilities, only this time is going to be easy as just starting the program on 2 machines, and off you go!

Ok, Iā€™ve been testing it with Commodus and these are my findingsā€¦

Good :

  • fast file sending
  • remote desktop control

Bad :

  • laggy remote desktop connection
  • when adding someone to the conversation it says : user joines conversation + origional user joines conversation which seems a little unneeded :).
  • when typing the cursor seems to disappear and appear again
