Dragon Kills Edge after 1803

Dear All,

I do not use Microsoft Edge, but yesterday I had to use it.
To my horror I discovered that Edge would not work!
Edge would launch, and open a blank grey window with the white e logo in the middle.
No active tab was created as normal. no website was loaded. You could enter an address in the address bar, but no loading or surfing was possible.
The Edge menu could drop down but no action was possible. No extensions were displayed.
Furthermore, after about a minute or so Edge would close down by itself.

My PC has Windows 10 1803, which was installed on the 3rd of June.
I combed the net to find out how to fix this problem and I tried EVERY SINGLE idea…
including deleting the C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe
including running Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml” –Verbose}
including Repair, & Resetting from the Apps&Features page
including restarting with Diagnostic startup and without any startup apps
Nothing worked!

I saw in the forums that some people had to uninstall one of their apps for Edge to work again. e.g. IBM Trusteer Rapport, and Clickshare
So I started uninstalling my applications one by one.
I discovered after a whole day of testing that removing Comodo Dragon browser from my system, allowed Edge to start normally.
I verified this by reinstalling from backup and removing ONLY Dragon. It works.

So we can add Comodo Dragon to the list of apps like IBM Trusteer Rapport, and Clickshare.
They are incompatible with MS Edge version included in the Windows 10 Version 1803 April Update.

When I reinstalled an image before 1803, Edge and Dragon could run normally and coexist.
As soon as I installed the 1803 update, on the system Edge was broken.

The errors Edge was giving me where the following:

Hope this helps someone, including Comodo, in order to fix the problem as I have not seen anyone online talking about it.

just an idea. Its a long shot but give it a try
make sure windows edge browser is closed
hit the window icon and the “R” button

at the “RUN” command screen type in C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe
then hit enter

hopefully that may help

and take a look at this

Just tried Edge, which I never use normally and all works well here. This system has Firefox browser (as default), Dragon, Vivaldi and Tor installed
