When I try to open Comodo Ice Dragon from either the desktop or Start menu, I get a message:
C:\ProgramFiles\Comodo\IceDragon\icedragon.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Does this mean that my computer can’t run CID or is there a fix for it? I am running Windows XP home edition 32bit sp3. My security software is AVG free. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice with the same results. Each time as well the install had to be repaired to completed the installation.
Please note that I am tech challenged, so explanations will need some detail. Thanks for any help you can provide.
Will Comodo IceDragon run on my computer?
Comodo IceDragon will run on 32/64 bit Windows 7, Windows Vista and Windows XP.
maybe you can try one of those cleaners ie Ccleaner or bleach for open source free software to clean any remnants or registry keys or delete related directories then reinstall

The answer is quoted from “Citizen K”
The latest version of FF that works on XP is 52.9. So the latest version of CID to support would be 52.0.0.4. Comodo does not have repository with previous versions. Filepuma still provides it though: https://www.filepuma.com/download/comodo_icedragon_internet_browser_52.0.0.4-15413/ .
