Does the firewall work with XP SP1?

The website says the firewall works with 2000 and XP SP2. Does it work with XP SP1?

Yes, the firewall works with versions 2000 through to XP SP2, which includes SP1.

Actually only the SP2 of Windows XP is compatible with Comodo Firewall, not SP1. ;D

G’day,

I’ve got it running under XP SP1 - not perfectly, but it is running. CPF.EXE and CMDAGENT.EXE don’t autostart until you manually open Launch Pad and view the application window for CPF. Other than that wrinkle, it seems to operate brilliantly - none better!

Hi Guys,

Comodo Personal Firewall works on all 32 bit versions of Windows 2000 and XP:

Windows 2000 (all service packs)
Windows XP (including SP1&2)

It should work on XP SP1 as well. Please let us know if you had a problem.
